Riverside Veterinary Centre was established in 1997 and is the only independent veterinary practice located within Stratford upon Avon. We take pride in offering a bespoke service whilst delivering a high standard of care and helpful advice, because your pets and animals are as important to us as they are to you.
Our fully trained veterinary team provide a Free 6 Month Health Check for our Senior Pet Citizens, a Free Initial Check-up for new puppies & kittens, as well as Free Diet and Dental Checks.
Digital X-Ray's, ECG, Capnograph, In-House Laboratory, External Laboratory Links, Ultrasound, Blood Pressure, Tonography. Theatre Facilities, Camera Monitored Recovery Ward.
We provide free parking directly next to the Veterinary Centre for easy access and to make your visit to the surgery as easy as possible.
We embrace working with young, adult and senior patients and are committed to providing an excellent standard of care and preventative care for your pet.
Our veterinary service includes vaccinations, check-ups, microchipping, pet travel, un-well and well pet clinics, prescriptions, monitoring and hospital facilities. You can also book a free appointment with our nursing team during the week, who offer support on nutrition, diet, parasitic treatments and grooming advice.
Regulations specify all puppies should be microchipped and we also recommend microchipping cats.
The microchips we implant are Identichip with BioTherm which when scanned not only produce the pets identification details but also provides a body temperature reading from the tiny thermometer, making it far more comfortable to obtain a temperature check from your pet.

Should your pet require veterinary treatment or you wish to seek veterinary advice when we are closed, please call 01789 299455 and you will be diverted to The Willows Veterinary Out Of Hours Team.
We have selected The Willows Veterinary as our Out Of Hours Team because their team has vast experience, expertise and facilities within their 24 hour Hospital.
Also, should your pet be hospitalised with them for treatment they do not have a morning deadline to discharge pets, unlike some other providers in the locality.

Payments can also be taken securely over the telephone.
Payment is due at the time of the consultation or on the collection of your pet.

Waiting Area
During lockdown we introduced outside or in-car waiting and have seen that your pets seem a lot happier than being in a busy waiting room, therefore we are continuing with our outside or in the car waiting areas for the foreseeable future.
We can see everyone arrive and will come and get you when it’s your pet’s appointment.
