Pet Care Stratford-Upon-Avon

Annual Health Reviews

As part of our duty of pet care we undertake a health check for all cats, dogs & rabbits on an annual basis. This allows us to best advise you on potential problems, especially as pets move from one age group to the next. Our clients find this service of enormous value as it allows you to plan for future health needs. Reminders are automatically sent when your pet is due for a check up.

Free Puppy and Kitten Checks Small Animal Vets

So often, as a new owner of a new puppy or kitten, health and pet care advice can be very confusing, and sometimes contradictory. Rather than wait for the start of a vaccination course to seek veterinary advice we offer to all newly registered puppies and kittens, a free health check as soon as you acquire them. Getting sound advice at this stage from the health professionals can pay dividends in those first few weeks.

In-House Diagnostic Laboratory

In any modern Veterinary Centre the need for a quick turn around in blood results is essential when dealing with poorly animals. At Riverside Veterinary Centre the diagnostic laboratory facilities are of the highest quality with trained staff ensuring that results are reported quickly.

When worrying things have happened to their pets our clients find the speed of service and the results, which are quickly reported and discussed, to be an immense comfort.

Veterinary Practice Warwickshire

Modern Surgical Facilities

With the expansion in facilities in 2005 the veterinary practice has doubled the operating rooms available. This also allowed us the benefit of a visiting orthopaedic surgeon to undertake specialist work in this expanded part of the Veterinary Centre. Clients value this service as it enables surgery to be undertaken here at Riverside Veterinary Practice rather than having to travel to a specialist site.

Small Animal Vets Hospitalisation Facilities

Alongside the high quality operating facilities at Riverside Veterinary Centre the recovery ward is a temperature regulated area within a quiet section of the building adjacent to the operating rooms.

The patients are constantly monitored by the nursing team. This allows pets the best opportunity to recuperate following their operation.

Geriatric Health Care

With an ever aging pet population it is so important not to ignore their needs. At Riverside Veterinary Centre there is a special focus on the older members of our clients' pets.

We undertake 6 monthly health reviews when a cat or dog enters their twilight years and help and advice is focused on the specific needs of this age group of pet. So often, small changes to care at this stage can have an immense benefit on the ongoing health of a faithful friend.

Nurse-Run Diet and Dental ClinicsSmall Animal Vets

We are very fortunate at Riverside Veterinary Centre in having an immense depth of skill and experience in our veterinary nursing team.

Members of the team run their own nurse lead clinics at the Veterinary Centre in a dedicated nurse clinic consultation room.

These clinics run alongside the normal consultations at the Veterinary Centre and are a huge benefit in allowing regular monitoring of a pet’s condition that can help the veterinarian in their work.

Pet Insurance Consultancy Service

All our vets and staff are trained in pet insurance to offer clients advice where applicable. Sally Harrison has made this her speciality - recognised in the 2007 UK Veterinary Awards by being made 'Pet Insurance Advisor of the Year'.

Many clients have benefited over the years from Sally’s dedication in efficiently processing insurance claims as part of our service.

If you have got your pet insured then we request you settle your account and we will then help you in your claim to the insurance company.
